Some credit card providers offer credit-builder cards to those ineligible for ‘standard’ credit cards. These cards attract a high rate of interest, but if you repay the balance without fail each month, you’re essentially demonstrating that you can manage your finances.  Also make sure that any default notices on your credit report have been marked as ‘satisfied.’
